Oh that beef pot pie was just divine! Made it on a whim and my small family scraped it clean. We haven't decided who gets the last piece yet. The kids also love the chicken cordon bleu whenever I pack it for them.

One thing I enjoyed about most of the recipes (made 4 at this point) is how simple the ingredients are. I'm not scrambling to find red wine vinegar or what have you. Really enjoyed this!

Bang bang shrimp was sooo good!!!! I had all the ingredients so I started with that. Wish there were more healthy options though. Excited to try the other recipes.

THE EVERYDAY DINNER BOOK

Over the years, I’ve shared so many dinner recipes, but this ebook brings together 41 of our absolute favorites. The ones we make again and again because they’re reliable, delicious, and always a hit.

Nothing here is complicated. The ingredient lists are familiar, the steps are clear, and every recipe has been made in my own kitchen until I knew it worked. These are family dinners that have gotten my family through busy weekdays, long workdays, and nights when I want to cook something easy that I know will turn out good.

Recipes that work every time

Taco Pizza is the one my family requests more than any other, and I understand why. It takes two favorites, cheesy pizza and loaded tacos, and puts them in a single golden slice piled high with seasoned beef, refried beans, melted cheese, and all the toppings. On a classic taco night, I make the Beef Tacos, spiced just right so everyone can build their own at the table.

And when I want a dinner that makes the whole family happy at once, it's Chicken Tetrazzini, creamy and cheesy with tender chicken and pasta baked until the top turns golden.

Comfort food for bad days

Salisbury Steak is what I make when I want warm, hearty comfort food without any fuss, with juicy beef patties sitting in a rich mushroom gravy that soaks right into the mashed potatoes underneath. When the evenings turn cold, I turn to Shepherd's Pie, with buttery mashed potato piled over ground lamb, sweet carrots, and peas simmered in a savory gravy.

Of course, a pot of Chicken Noodle Soup, loaded with tender chicken and vegetables in a rich broth, is the one I make whenever someone in the house needs a little looking after.

Special Sundays, easy Tuesdays

Some nights you want dinner to feel like an occasion, even midweek. Marry Me Chicken Orzo is my answer, with juicy chicken and orzo in a rich sun-dried tomato cream sauce, all from one skillet, and it tastes like you went to real trouble when you really didn't.

Chicken Marsala is the one that makes everyone slow down at the table, with tender chicken and silky mushrooms in a sauce that's sweet, savory, and just rich enough. And Beef Stroganoff, creamy and full of tender beef over egg noodles, feels like a treat without asking you to spend the whole evening on it.

Worth coming back to

A few recipes have earned a permanent place in my rotation. I make the Parmesan Crusted Pork Chops over and over, because that golden, garlicky Parmesan topping over a tender, juicy chop never gets old.

Meatloaf is my no-nonsense answer for the nights I want something everyone will eat with plenty to go around. And Beef Pot Pie, with its flaky puff-pastry lid over a rich beef and vegetable filling, is the dinner I reach for whenever I want comfort I can truly count on.

Hi, I'm Mandy.

I learned how to cook on a budget from a lot of places. From my parents trying to make ends meet, from my friends when we were all figuring things out, from nights when I refused to go to the grocery store and had to get creative with what was left.

Those lessons shaped how I cook today. Simple, smart, and always satisfying.

I'm so glad you're here. Can't wait to cook together!
